What this policy covers
This policy explains what information A10 Salinas Insulation and Spray Foam collects through this website, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. We're an insulation contractor in Salinas, CA, and most of what we collect is what you send us so we can come look at your attic, crawl space or walls and give you an estimate.
It covers this website, starting from the home page, and the contact form linked from it. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, because those sites have their own policies. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form, call or email us, we collect what you choose to share. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and a description of the job, such as a drafty room, a hot upstairs or old insulation you want removed.
Our contact form is hosted by an outside form service, so the details you type into it are stored by that service and passed on to us. Please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive details through the form, because we don't need them to schedule an estimate.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one may collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, the pages you viewed, how you got to the site and a general location based on your IP address. We use this to see which pages people find useful and to fix pages that don't work well.
This information may be gathered with cookies, which are small files your browser stores, and with analytics tools run by outside providers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work if you do.
How we use your information
We use your contact details to answer your question, set up an estimate at your property, schedule the work and follow up on a job we've done for you. We may also use them to keep records of the work, handle billing and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with people and services that help us run the business, such as our form, email, analytics and accounting providers, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If you contact us and we never do the job, we keep your message only as long as it's useful for following up, and then we delete it. If we do work at your house, we keep the job records for as long as we need them for warranty questions, billing and tax purposes.
Analytics information is usually kept in summary form by the analytics provider and isn't used by us to identify you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. California law may give you additional rights over your personal information, and we'll honor any request the law gives you, after confirming the request is really from you.
You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we'll take you off our follow-up list.
Children's information
This website is meant for homeowners and property owners, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the services we use change. The current version will always be on this page, so check back if you have questions about how your information is handled.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question about your information or want to make a request, call us at (831) 243-7218 or send us a message through our Contact page. We answer the phone 6 AM to 11 PM Monday through Friday and 8 AM to 9 PM on weekends, and we reply to written requests within 1 business day.
